Charles Noneman Music Scholarship

The mission of The Charles Noneman Endowed Music Scholarship Fund is to provide an annual scholarship award to a saxophone student to attend a camp, take private lessons, or to purchase an instrument. Selection criteria will include musical ability, participation in one or more school music groups, evidence of musical leadership, and the recommendations of private music teachers and band/orchestra directors.
The scholarship winner will be notified the week of February 6th and will be recognized at the Midland Concert Band’s concert on February 19th.
The scholarship winner will be invited to play with the Midland Concert Band at its concert on May 6th providing he/she can attend rehearsals on Thursday evenings from 7:15 – 9:30 pm.
