Midland Concert Band Scholarships

2024 Scholarship Applications are now OPEN until January 31st, 2024. The chosen students will play with the band in the Spring Concert on May 5th, 2024.

The mission of the Midland Concert Band Scholarship program is to encourage the instrumental band students in Midland County to improve and enhance their musical experiences. Our funds provide private lessons, attendance at a summer camp such as Blue Lake, or helping with the purchase of a new instrument.

Criteria include the musical ability of the student, the completed application and essay detailing their interest and commitment to their school band program, and a statement of intent for what the scholarship will be used for. Band directors also submit a recommendation for the student.
